Obtain an Attorney:

The third important member to choose for your team is your Attorney.  Sometimes the Attorney’s role in the buying process is underestimated, but actually they are intricately involved in every step once the decision is made to draw up an offer.  Because their role is vital, but not highly touted, we can consider the Attorney the catcher on your team. 

Your Attorney should be knowledgeable and reliable, able to identify any concerns and to draft all of the buyer related paperwork. It is important to hire an Attorney who specializes in real estate; your Real Estate Agent or Mortgage Broker should be able to refer you to one that they know and trust.
